❋ Ovate Grove
In Celtic traditions, an ovate was a keeper of wisdom, healing, herbs, ritual, story, intuition, and deep connection to both the natural world and the unseen threads that connect us to one another. Groves were places of gathering, learning, ceremony, reflection, and community. Ovate Grove is rooted in those ideas, reimagined for modern life and the very human need for connection, support, creativity, belonging, and becoming.
❋ Gather in the GroveOvate Grove is the evolving community branch of Ovate, created for current, former, and future clients, as well as the people who somehow wandered in by cosmic chance and decided to stay awhile. As Ovate continues to bloom and evolve, so will Ovate Grove. The vision is organic, collaborative, a little unconventional, and still becoming. Through a mix of free gatherings, workshops, collaborative offerings, online spaces, and in-person events, Ovate Grove exists to cultivate the kind of community many people have quietly been craving. Some gatherings may be intimate and reflective, while others are playful, educational, nourishing, creative, deeply practical, or joyfully chaotic.❋ The VisionOfferings may eventually include:Creative workshops and community art nightsSeasonal gatherings, rituals, and celebrationsHerbalism, gardening, and nourishment-based classesNervous system and embodiment workshopsSupport circles and peer connectionCommunity meals and conversation nightsMoon gatherings, folk practices, and earth-centered spiritualitySpaces for grief, reinvention, creativity, parenting, identity, and healingWorkshops centered around real life, real bodies, and real humans
Some offerings will be freely available in the spirit of community care, while others will be paid workshops or collaborative events that help sustain the community and support local artists, educators, practitioners, healers, and creatives.❋ Grow with Us!Ovate Grove is spiritual in the broadest, most human sense of the word. Rooted in curiosity, connection, intuition, beauty, care, creativity, ritual, and shared humanity rather than dogma or rigid belief systems. Those who have deconstructed, felt displaced from traditional religious spaces, or longed for community without performance, exclusion, or pressure are especially welcome here. Think “church for the formerly churched,” but softer, stranger, earthier, and without the expectation that anyone has to believe the same things. At its core, Ovate Grove is about remembering what it feels like to gather again. To make things together. To share food, stories, grief, laughter, ideas, magic, skills, and support in ways that feel nourishing and real.Ovate Grove is still growing, and collaboration is deeply welcomed. If you are a like-minded artist, educator, small business, healer, organizer, creative, or facilitator interested in partnering on workshops, gatherings, or future offerings, I would genuinely love to connect.
